King Jesus H. Ministry Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
Update: May 24, 2020
We are very excited to share with you that our church is now re-opened started Sunday, May 24, 2020, and we are happy to welcome you back home!
If you are considered at risk, vulnerable, over the age of 65, have a fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, we ask you to stay home and worship with us online. In person, we will be abiding by all social distancing rules and requiring everyone to wear a mask to enter the temple.
As a church, we are an essential body, and it is essential that we meet and congregate together. King Jesus H. Ministry never closed. We simply continued to stream online and followed the social distancing guidelines to protect our people. The CDC has issued guidelines that we will also be following.
List of precautions we are taking
- We have added hand sanitizer stations throughout the temple and the rest of our buildings.
- Our janitorial team has increased disinfecting efforts during their cleaning routines in all of our buildings with an increased cleaning process and emphasis on the restrooms and highly-trafficked areas.
- All push-bars, doorknobs, soap dispensers, and water faucet handles are undergoing a thorough cleaning process multiple times a day.
- For children, we are disinfecting all surfaces and toys continuously and in between services on Sundays in each classroom.
- Per the CDC, older adults and those who have underlying or chronic medical conditions are at higher risk for developing more serious complications. We have asked anyone who is ill or has family members that are ill, or suspect that they have been exposed to the virus, to please stay at home and self-quarantine.
We respect and support the requirements that our government officials ask of us and we are prepared to follow any new protocol and instruction given by government officials. The health and safety of our members is always our highest priority.
